DnD Redux. Again.
Remember when my D&D character died and I was excited about making a new one?
Yeah, it died last week. In fact, DH's character killed my poor Tiefling swordmage, Khol.
So, I've made yet another character, who debuted last night: a Pixie fire elementalist named Teaberry, who has a pet displacer beast called Damnyou, which she insists is just a harmless kitten.
She may be my favorite character yet. I just hope she lives longer than a month... The entire party almost died last night! Most of the party made a run for it and barely escaped. Luckily for me, Teaberry can fly - she just flitted away at ceiling height. Hurrah!

Isn't he precious?! |

Something like, say, a delicious cookie."

It is the moment that every black parent fears: the day their child is called a nigger....I was certain that my Princeton degree and economic privilege not only would empower me to navigate the mostly white neighborhoods and institutions that my kids inhabited, but would provide a cocoon to protect them from the bias I had encountered growing up. My wife and I used our knowledge of white upper-class life to envelop our sons and daughter in a social armor that we felt would repel discriminatory attacks."
